The session will explore the collaborative research that has been performed by BRE Global together with SFRS, Scottish Government and the FIA to identify ways to reduce fire fatalities and serious fire injuries. By analysing data of fire incidents attended by SFRS and reviewing reports produced by SFRS Fire Investigators a number of technological and social approaches have been proposed that can be adopted or developed.
