David Scott, Managing Director of Skills for Security explores the necessities of recruiting and upskilling in the fire and security industries. In this session David will cover the current and ongoing skills shortage and how it can effect the sector. David will also explore the barriers of attracting young people into the industry, the apprenticeship programmes and other training that SfS offers and lastly how BSIA and SfS are actively trying to eradicate these issues through accessible high quality training.
