Fire Buyer Live renews partnership with Skills for Security

Fire Buyer Live is excited to announce our renewed media partnership with Skills for Security for our virtual event taking place 18-19 October 2023.

Skills for Security is a Grade 2 Ofsted national provider for the fire and security industry, helping to train our future workforce, with a Technical Training Centre in Warrington. They hold direct claims status with two Awarding bodies and a direct contract with the ESFA. SfS is part of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) and a not-for-profit organisation.

Fire Buyer Live will be the new dedicated online experience for the entire international fire sector to source the latest equipment and systems, develop important business relationships and generate new business opportunities. Fire Buyer Live is perfectly placed to establish itself as the leading and must-attend online event for the fire sector, and our partnership with Skills for Security demonstrates our dedication to upskilling and tackling the skill gap in the industry.

As a supported of Fire Buyer Live, Skills for Security are taking part in our Empowering STEM Leaders panel discussion. Hollie Donovan, Partnership Manager for Skills for Security, speaks about the apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities and initiatives in place to help create a diverse future workforce and directly tackled the recruitment and skill gap currently facing the industry.
