Fire Buyer Live covers both the active and passive side of the industry. From the passive side, we will open with Fire Buyer Live partner, The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE). Steve Hamm, Chief Executive Officer at IFE, will discuss how to manage fire safety in a sustainable world. Also, from the passive side our Managing Editor, Rebecca Morpeth-Spayne, will be leading a panel session around Competency Culture with IFE joining the discussion.
From the active side, Perimeter Solutions’ Vice President in Research and Development, Melissa Kim is delivering a session surrounding phosphate-based fire retardants. Another Fire Buyer Live partner, Fire Industry Association (FIA) will join us with a session on electric vehicle fires delivered by Bernie Higgins, Chair of FRES Council. Brent Brooks, Firefighter at Toronto Fire Department, will discuss high rise firefighting tactics and the specialised equipment used for keeping inhabitants and firefighters safe during operations.
